Resilient Byron is a winner of the Byron Shire Council 2020 Sustainability Awards!

We are both thrilled and surprised to share with you all that Resilient Byron is one of the winners of the Byron Shire Council 2020 Sustainability Awards!

We are thrilled because it's a recognition of our work and relevance, but also surprised as we don't know who has nominated us to enter the selection in the first place! I guess someone in the community is really keen to support us.

Anyway, it's excellent news obviously, and humbling too. Given the multiple challenges and crises we face, coming together as a community is so vitally important. Transforming our region so that it becomes truly regenerative and resilient requires us to make it so. It's on us. How should we do it, what do you wish to see happen, how will you contribute? Let's have that conversation. And, with compassion and determination, let's transform this region and build a resilience and regeneration movement together.
