More resources to help you through the current covid crisis

Following our previous post on what actions you can take now that Covid has it our region, we've partnered with the Mullumbimby Flattening the Curve Facebook group and the Byron Shire Council, with inputs from several local community organisations and state official agencies, to create a comprehensive list of resources to help you through the current Covid crisis.

We sought to provide resources that are as specific as possible to the Byron Shire, although many also apply to the neighbouring shires.

In it, we provide answers to these questions:

  • What can I do to prepare for Covid?

  • How to get tested?

  • Where can I find essential items to prepare for Covid?

  • What can I do if managing Covid at home?

  • What can I do if I need to support someone who has Covid?

  • What can I do if I need medical support?

  • What can I do if I need non-medical support?

  • What can I do if my mental health is being affected?

  • What can I do if I need food delivered?

  • What can I do if accessing food is difficult?

  • What can I do if I need accommodation in order to be able to self-isolate?

  • How can I help?

  • Where can I find up-to-date information about Covid?

  • Where can I find statistics about Covid?

Let us know in the comments below if there is anything else you think we should consider adding to the list.

And share this document around if you have found it useful.
