Meet our new team member: Renee Arringer
We’re also excited to introduce Renee Arringer, who has joined the team as our Community Carers and Responders (CCR) facilitator and coordinator, and is also leading our SSVP Inclusive and Accessible project.
Renee brings a unique and powerful mix of scientific thinking, community connection, and creative energy to her work. She's also a perfect fit for Plan C and we’re so lucky to have her on board!
Here’s a little about Renee, in her own words:
"I’m so happy to join the Plan C team! I've lived in the Northern Rivers for five years and have spent this time working in community programs particularly focused on the wellbeing of children and young people. I have worked as a science presenter, youth/social worker, and counsellor - always with a focus on community engagement.
My tertiary studies include a Bachelor of Science and Arts, and a Master of Science Communication. Much of these studies focused on human geography and the impacts we have on our planet. I am passionate about regeneration and community-led projects that may seem small but have mighty outcomes.
I like to spend my down-time doing arts and crafts (my house is filled with half-finished projects), reading, and taking my greyhound to the beach."
