Rising Together: Strengthening Communities through Conflict Management

Our October workshops focused on Strengthening Communities through Conflict Management, particularly in the context of disaster response and recovery scenarios. They have been popular with glowing feedback. A big thank you to Julie Walker and Bobbi Allan for all your wisdom, creativity and passion. Here's what participants had to say:

"Really appreciate that the course content referenced local events and situations and grateful to Plan C for coaching us towards better management of difficult situations and conversations."

"It was really good. I loved the feeling of being in the room with two female elders and valued the knowledge and experience they brought along with the collaborative approach to learning."

If you missed these, rest assured that there are more opportunities for you to learn conflict management skills. Dr Andrew McClelland will be co-facilitating with the Plan C team to deliver another version of these workshops in November:

  • Murwillumbah November 1st

  • Kyogle November 16th

We will cover:

  • group conflicts + our reactions

  • conflict management tools

  • deep listening orientation in conflicts

  • assertiveness + boundaries.

If this is something that you resonates with you, we invite you to apply now!
